During cardiovascular training the body doesn’t actually begin oxidising triglycerides (burning fat) until 20 minutes into training. Prior to this the body is merely mobilising triglycerides (preparing the fat to be ‘burnt’)

a.k.a. only after 20 minutes of running, cycling, swimming…etc does your body actually begin to burn fat off the body
